Kids Against Hunger "Rice Packing" Community Initiative

Give hope this holiday season by packing 20,000 packages of rice for the hungry in Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.  FBC's Missions Ministry has partnered with Kids Against Hunger and Mountain View Elementary School's Global Studies Program to pack 20,000 packages of rice and beans on Saturday, December 2nd at Mountain View Elementary School between 9:00 a.m.  and 1:00 p.m.   There are also opportunities to assist with set up and clean up.  Please sign up for a two-hour volunteer window at www.SignUpGenius.com/go/5080E4CA4A628A13-rice.

The Missions Ministry and Mountain View Elementary School are also collecting monetary donations to go toward the expense of purchasing the rice and supplies.  Each package of rice is valued at $.25 and can help feed six people.  A $10 donation can purchase 40 packages of rice.  A $20 donation can purchase 80 packages of rice and a $50 donation can purchase 200 packages of rice.

Please consider assisting and make checks payable to First Baptist Church and indicate Kids Against Hunger in the memo line.  Thank you for your support in helping feed God's people.
