Young Women's Ministry Trip to National African American Museum

  • National African American Museum 1400 Constitution Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20560 United States (map)

The YWM will be visiting the National African American Museum of History and Culture (NAAMHC) on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  We have secured a limited amount of tickets to visit this extraordinary museum.  There is so much to discover and learn at NAAMHC.  It is truly a gem.   This will be an “all-day” outing for participants.  We will have light breakfast at church before departing for the museum for our 11:00 am entry time.  We expect to remain at the museum until near closing.  There is a $20 cost associated with the outing to reserve a slot.   The money will contribute to the cost of breakfast, late lunch, transportation, and a souvenir.  However, financial assistance is available.

Parents should contact Alene Devereaux at aleneandjohnny@gmail.com  or 571-332-3168 to reserve your daughters space.  After contacting Alene, you will receive a permission slip form and additional information.   Slots will be distributed on a “first-come/first serve” basis.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact YWM co-chairs, Alene Devereaux at aleneandjohnny@gmail.com or Erica Ash at ashfam6@outlook.com.
