Tentative Plans: Depart Dulles Airport at 2:41 on Thursday Sept. 6th; Return Dulles Airport at 4:25 on Monday Sept. 10th. Daily work in communities, while dinner and exploring the city in the evening.
Projected Costs: Airfare - $414. Dormitory-style housing provided by the Missions Ministry. Plan to bring money for dinner each day and spending.

The Graduating High School Brunch will be held at Columbus Grill on Sunday, April 29th from
11:30am—2pm. The church will cover the cost of two adults and the graduating high school senior. Additional family members are welcome to attend but need to pay for their food. Women of FBC are invited to attend the at- home retreat, designed to provide the retreat experience at home! Ladies will be inspired by the message of two dynamic speakers: Rev. Dr. Marquita Carmichael from Richmond, Va. and Rev. Debra Watkins-Marshall from Baltimore, Md. They will lead us through a journey of the Beatitudes that focus on righteousness, answering questions such as, Who are the righteous and why when persecuted would they inherit heaven? There will be time to study God’s word, fellowship and give praise and honor to Him.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. The cost is $20 and will be collected after each Sunday service in April. Mark this date on your calendar and plan to attend. Don’t forget to invite a friend.

Ladies of First Baptist, please mark March 2, 2018, on your calendar and plan to attend our monthly meeting. This meeting will focus on the Beatitude, “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth”. Join Jessica Parker and Dana Jordan as they lead us in creating and refreshing “prayer journals” . This is an opportunity for those ladies who did not attend the women’s retreat to create this wonderful chronicle of prayers and God’s response to your prayers. We also will have an exciting presentation presented by Cassandra Dean on “What would you do if”, where we address topics that women face daily in their walk with God. Come out, and bring a friend. The Music and Arts ministries are preparing for this celebration which will be held Sunday, March 25th, (Palm Sun-day). All Choirs and Praise and Worship Team members are highly encour-aged to participate. Children ages 5-12 are invited to take the Children's Church Challenge! Students should memorize James 2:26 and choose a person from Hebrews 11 who demonstrated faith in God.
Students should be prepared to recite James 2:26 and share their research about the person that they chose from Hebrews 11 on Sunday, February 18th during the children's church service. Students who successfully complete the challenge will be given a treat at children's church on February 18th and their name will be added to the Children's Church Challenge Board.

Volunteers are needed to share in fun and fellowship while assisting residents with Bingo at the Birmingham Green Nursing Home, 8605 Centreville Road in Manassas.
Regularly scheduled for each first Saturday, this activity next will take place on November 4th, 1:45pm-3pm. The participation of both adults and youth is greatly participated.
