FBC is Seeking a Gospel Choir Music Director (Until Filled) First Baptist Church, 9258 Center Street, Manassas, VA, 20110

First Baptist Church of Manassas, VA, a growing historic church with a modern ministry, mission, and vision, is seeking a Music Director for its Adult Gospel Choir (Voices of Hope) to lead, advance and expand the choir that ministers on 3rd Sundays of each month.

Youth Christmas Play Registration

This year's youth Christmas play will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 4:00 p.m. at FBC.  All children and teens who are at least five years old are invited to participate. Youth are invited to act, sing, dance, help create scenery/costumes and assist with the audio visual components of the play.   Registration forms are available in the Narthex. 

A registration form is needed for each child participating.  If your child participated in the play in 2016, he/she does not need to submit a new registration form.  Submit completed registration forms to the Youth Ministry mailbox, fbckids9258@gmail.com, or Register Here!

Join the Woodbridge Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Kevin Jenkins from The College Place for a presentation that covers applying to college, scholarships, essay writing and financial aid. The first part of the workshop is geared toward both high school students and parents.

In the second part of the workshop high school students meet in a separate location at the library to speak to current college students. In this part of the presentation, parents will learn about applying for financial aid. No registration required

On October 8, 2017, we will culminate a special collection at the 10:30am One Church-One Service worship (145th Church Anniversary) to help those affected by the recent natural disasters and Hurricanes (Harvey and Irma).  Collected funds will be sent to our partners Lott Carey, Baptist General Convention of VA, and other vetted agencies and churches to help victims and communities affected in Texas, Florida, Caribbean, and Sierra Leone.

Starting in September, No-Sew Fleece Blankets will be made for the homeless and needy. Please join us on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Thursdays of each month, from 2—4pm (immediately following our Barnabas Lunch) in the Marshall D. Williams Fellowship Hall. No experience or skills needed. Be a participant in the fun and fellowship while providing a service to the less fortunate in our community. Refreshments will be served. This is a Senior Saint friendly activity and we encourage our Seniors to join us for lunch at Barnabas and stay to assist will the blankets. Come out June 26th - 29th at 5pm. 

The VBS Staff is looking for teachers. We need teachers and assistants for classes in these grades: K-1; 2-3; 4-5, 6-8; 9-12; young adult; and adult.  We also need (1) sitters/teachers for toddlers whose parents bring them to VBS; (2) music leaders; (3) AV help for Day 1, 3, and 4; and (4) art/crafts and fitness teachers.
