The Missions Ministry and Mountain View Elementary School are also collecting monetary donations to go toward the expense of purchasing the rice and supplies. Each package of rice is valued at $.25 and can help feed six people. A $10 donation can purchase 40 packages of rice. A $20 donation can purchase 80 packages of rice and a $50 donation can purchase 200 packages of rice.
Barnabas Bread Basket will be hosting its annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner. Please sign up to volunteer or to donate food items. All food items need to be at the church by Wednesday night, November 22nd. This year you do not have to sign up to volunteer to serve. Ladies, it’s time to get ready for the 2017 Women’s Retreat!! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to refresh, relax, rejuvenate and receive your blessing from the Lord! We continue to collect payment for the retreat after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m services. The final payment is due October 22, 2017. Volunteers are needed to share in fun and fellowship while assisting residents with Bingo at the Birmingham Green Nursing Home, 8605 Centreville Road in Manassas.
Regularly scheduled for each first Saturday, this activity next will take place on November 4th, 1:45pm-3pm. The participation of both adults and youth is greatly participated.

On October 8, 2017, we will culminate a special collection at the 10:30am One Church-One Service worship (145th Church Anniversary) to help those affected by the recent natural disasters and Hurricanes (Harvey and Irma). Collected funds will be sent to our partners Lott Carey, Baptist General Convention of VA, and other vetted agencies and churches to help victims and communities affected in Texas, Florida, Caribbean, and Sierra Leone.

Join the Woodbridge Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Kevin Jenkins from The College Place for a presentation that covers applying to college, scholarships, essay writing and financial aid. The first part of the workshop is geared toward both high school students and parents.
In the second part of the workshop high school students meet in a separate location at the library to speak to current college students. In this part of the presentation, parents will learn about applying for financial aid. No registration required
If your child is interested in a speaking role or a solo in this year's play he/she will need to attend the table reading on Friday, September 29th from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at FBC.
