Keith Savage has been the Senior Servant of First Baptist Church of Manassas, VA (FBC) since August 2002. FBC is an active, growing, mission-minded, servant Christian community of believers who seek to ‘Move the Kingdom Forward through Faith’ locally, nationally, and internationally for Christ. The church is pursuing campus expansion opportunities on a new 37+ acre site it purchased near its current location for greater growth in worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and overall ministry. “Bring them in, build them up, teach them how, and send them out.”

Dr. Savage volunteers his time and talents locally, nationally, and worldwide through various ecumenical and social justice organizations.  He has been a featured preacher, teacher and speaker locally and internationally.  He serves as a volunteer chaplain with various police departments and medical facilities. Dr. Savage is a clergy leader within Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement (www.voice-iaf.org). He is also a Co-Chair on the Board of Directors of the Metro IAF Community Restoration Fund, LLC. The Fund makes investments in real estate to rebuild neighborhoods and finance affordable homeownership and rental housing in target areas around the United States for development, preservation, and revitalization. He continues to travel the world as an ambassador for Christ.

Dr. Keith Savage is a licensed and ordained Baptist Minister.  He has affiliations with the American Baptist Churches, Lott Carey Mission Convention, Baptist General Convention of Virginia, and the Northern Virginia Baptist Association. He is an author who has contributed chapters and articles to various published Christian books and journals.

Dr. Keith Savage is married to the love of his life Bonita and they are the proud parents of two adult children (Keith II and Kayla).  He earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO (1987), his Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor of School of Theology, Virginia Union Univ. in Richmond, VA (1998), and his Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH (2013). Dr. Savage returned to United Theological Seminary in 2014 and served as a Mentor/Instructor for the Prophetic Preaching and Praxis cohort.

Most importantly, Dr. Keith Savage is a redeemed child of God, a disciple and friend of Jesus Christ, saved by grace, and called according to Lord’s will to preach, teach, and live out the Good News of Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
