FBC FAMILIES 2013-01-27
The Family Life Ministry invites the families and members of FBC to an afternoon at the Hylton Performing Arts Merchant Theatre to see the theatrical production “Peter and the Wolf” on Saturday, February 2nd at 2pm. The cost is $7.50 per adult and free for children (18 and under) with a paying adult. Please sign-up in the Narthex and make payment by Today, January 27th.
CHOIR REHEARSALS 2013-01-28
Choir rehearsals for the "Lest We Forget" Emancipation Conference Concert are scheduled for Monday, January 28th at 7pm and Monday, February 4th at 7pm in the Main Sanctuary. You do not need to be a choir member to participate. All are welcome!
JEOPARDY NIGHT 2013-01-30
On the last Wednesday of this month (January 30th), we will be having our Inter-generational Jeopardy Night Bible Trivia! Bring the whole family and test your Bible knowledge. Food will be served beginning at 7pm.

The Youth Choir will rehearse on Saturday, February 2nd from 9:30am—11am.
CAREER DAY 2013-02-06
The staff and faculty of Osbourn High School want our students to view the accomplishments of African Americans impacting the workforce in our community on a daily basis. On February 6th, Osbourn High School will host a Career Day showcasing African Americans in the work force titled "African Americans Impacting the Work Force." African Americans working in both blue collar and white collar professions will be invited to speak in classes. This event will be very informative to students deciding on careers and students will learn that while African Americans have contributed to society in the past, the great heritage and legacy continues in the world today. Please consider taking time from your busy schedule to speak to our students. You may donate as little as an hour, a few hours, or the entire day. School starts at 7:30am and ends at 2:30pm. If you are willing to share your expertise and knowledge or know of any other people who may be interested in speaking, please contact Dr. Zella H. Jones at zjones@manassas.k12.va.us

LOTT CAREY YOUTH RETREAT MEETING 2013-02-09
Attention all teens ages 14-18, or that will be 14 before June 22nd, there will be an interest meeting on Saturday, February 9th from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for all of those that wish to participate in the 59th Annual Lott Carey Youth Retreat. The meeting will be in the Main Sanctuary. We will discuss what to expect at Lott Carey, past experiences, requirements to go to Lott Carey and what has changed since years past. The Lott Carey International Youth Retreat helps to produce new generations of leaders for the world. This is an experience that you will not want to pass up.
